Kennedy Loudspeakers’ 3000W Concert Subwoofer incorporates two 460mm (18 inch) B&C low frequency drivers in a front-loaded, ultra-large vent configuration. The deep cabinet is designed to combine extended low frequency bandwidth with low frontal height. Equipped with curved handles and a perforated steel grill, the subwoofer can be used in ground-stacked or single-suspended applications.
The extra-large vent design allows for very high output with low levels of distortion and noise. The subwoofer can be used at performing arts facilities, houses of worship, live clubs, dance clubs/discos, sports facilities and themed entertainment venues. The subwoofer enclosures, made from 17mm 11-ply Finnish birch plywood, measure 38.4 by 22 by 44.1 inches, with a vent sized close to 200 square inches. The frequency response is 30-700 Hz; 80 Hz is typical. The units weigh close to 150 lbs.
