While located in a rural setting, SmartTechAV’s Clint Kaster remains cognizant of distant house boats and other neighbors when mixing the music for the 1,600 or so guests attending the summertime Topaz Farm harvest concerts. “The K-Array/JBL system has given great coverage while generating zero noise complaints,” he says. Switching from double 18” subs to 12” drivers also “knocked the legs out of” the noise spillage concerns, enabling Kaster to “mix as loud as I can for the audience without annoying the neighbors.”
