Tour Details
Taylor Swift’s Eras tour was one for the record books. With 149 shows staged from March 17, 2023 to Dec. 8, 2024, it now stands as the highest-grossing tour of all time, topping the $1 billion mark for the second consecutive year, according to Pollstar. The New York Times reported total tour revenues of $2,077,618,725, almost double the next biggest money-maker, Coldplay’s ongoing $1.15 billion 2022-2025 Music of the Spheres trek. The Times also noted that a total 10,168,008 attended the shows, spending an average of $204 per seat. But of course, total Swiftie spending far exceeded that per-seat figure, with massive revenues from merch (much of it going to the Swift camp) and ticket-reselling (separate from the tour’s take) accompanying each show. (The Times, citing info from Victory Live, noted that the average price for a resold ticket for the tour’s last show in Vancouver, BC was a whopping $2,952.)
