Event Details
New World Audio provided audio, backline and operators for the annual San Gennaro Feast held at Las Vegas’ M Resort from Sept. 18-22, 2024. The musical entertainment ranged from track-acts to full live bands, providing a range of music for seven to 10 hours to the thousands attending. New World Audio owner Sonny Maupin, along with technicians Craig Tanaka and Stevie McMahon, performed all the technical duties, with challenges including 15-minute changeover timeframes for the performing acts. The largest band The Raiders House Band, with 14 musicians led by trumpet player/conductor David Perrico. Paul Educate was the Raiders House Band’s FOH engineer. Some of the other acts during the five-day event were Earth, Wind & Fire tribute band Serpentine Fire; classic rock band Yellow Brick Road, salsa band Latin Breeze and pop band 90’s Station. The 2024 festival was the 44th annual event in Las Vegas. Anthony Palmisano has been the president of the San Gennaro Feast since 1996. His family has been organizing these events for 98 years, first bringing it from New York to Las Vegas in 1980.
