Event Details

For 15 years, Panstock has celebrated steel drum music, and the 2024 event, which took place April 27, was the biggest Panstock yet. Held at Ohio’s New Philadelphia High School, director Jeff Phillips presented an 85- to 90-piece steel drum orchestra comprised of New Philadelphia Steel Band players along with members of the Saint Louis High School Steel Drum Band from Michigan. Other featured performers included Jonathan “Sugarfoot” Moffett, drummer for Michael Jackson, Madonna and Elton John among others; and Pan Rocks founder Tracy Thornton.
