Event Details
The 2023 Lowrider Super Show rolled into Las Vegas Convention Center on Sept. 30, 2023, offering lowrider car buffs and clubs a chance to meet and show off their automotive creativity. The event also featured music from Zapp, DJ Quik, Jay Worthy and J.Me with an audio assist from Texas AVL and locally based New World Audio, owned by Sonny Maupin. Noted Las Vegas-based FOH engineer Rick Camp provided the mix for Zapp’s performance at the show. (Zapp’s electro-funk hit, “More Bounce to the Ounce,” has been a part of lowrider culture since the original band introduced it with their debut album in 1980.)
