Event Details
Curaçao, located just 40 miles from the coast of Venezuela, is often grouped together with nearby Aruba and Bonaire, which also share Curaçao’s Dutch colonial heritage, and referred to as the “ABC” Islands of the south Caribbean. Now a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Curaçao is popular with scuba divers looking for warm, crystalline ocean waters. Curaçao’s arid climate, especially during the April to November dry season, keeps ocean clouding from river runoff to a minimum. An added bonus for island visitors on June 23 was a performance by Dutch DJ and producer Hardwell at Curaçao’s Kokomo Beach, with a d&b sound system provided by Eurosound.
