Tour Details

Already ranking second only to Taylor Swift’s Eras tour as the top money-maker of all time, Coldplay’s ongoing $1.15 billion Music of the Spheres trek has, from its start in 2022, been focused on a different kind of green – environmental sustainability. As for dollars, Billboard’s end-of-year 2024 charts put total sales just above the $400 million mark, while Pollstar, which crunches end-of-year numbers a bit later than Billboard’s Oct. 1-Sept. 30 time frame, cited total ticket sales of $422 million. The total number of tickets sold for the tour as a whole – 10.3 million and counting – also tops Taylor Swift’s two-year Eras tour total (10.2 million), according to Billboard, and that number will rise further as Coldplay’s tour continues in 2025. Firehouse Productions supported the tour’s stateside gigs in 2023. The band is expected to return to North America for a series of shows in July, 2025.
