Event Details

Music Matters Productions supported An Evening with CAKE for Atlanta festival producer Rival Entertainment under its Big Night Out brand of outdoor concert events. The rock band, including lead singer John McCrea, trumpeter Vince DiFiore, guitarist San McCurdy, bassist Daniel McCallum and drummer Todd Roper, is known for their rendition of Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” along for such hits as “Short Skirt/Long Jacket,” “The Distance” and “Rock ‘n’ Roll Lifestyle.” The event took place within Historic Fourth Ward Park just west of Atlanta’s BeltLine Eastside Trail on a former flood-prone industrial site reclaimed for wetlands and public recreation.
