Event Details

Celebrating 30 years with the Akron Symphony, the Gospel Meets Symphony concert is one of Northeast Ohio’s proudest and most enduring musical traditions. The talents of 70+ Akron area churches and local gospel groups form the GMS choir, performing inspirational gospel and classical music. The Akron Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Christopher Wilkins is backed the 155-voice choir under the direction of Jonathan Turner.
