Event Details
The Are We African Yet? Festival, presented by Nigerian singer/songwriter Davido, is presented as a one-day show with a festival format that aspires to promote cultural collaboration between Africa and the world. Davido, who was born in Atlanta, raised in Nigeria, and then returned to the U.S. at age 16, has collaborated extensively with U.S.-based artists. The first annual A.W.A.Y. Festival included performances by Davido, E Cool, King Promise, Lo Jay, Mayor Kun, Musa Keys, Spinall, TXC & Victony.
