d&b completes its XSL family of directional line arrays with the XSL, which puts the technology into a smaller, lighter-weight, more energy efficient package. The unit features two 8” front-facing LF drivers; two 6.5” side-facing LF drivers a 6.5” MF/horn driver and two 1” exit HF compression drivers — all in an 86-pound enclosure. Versions are offered with 80° or 120° dispersion and the XSLi installation systems will begin shipping in this month, with a portable XSL package due in January 2022.

Electro-Voice expands its sound solutions for stadiums and sports venues with the MTS series of full-range, high-output, long-throw, point-source loudspeakers. Each MTS model has four 15” woofers and dual coaxial MF/HF compression drivers. The system can generate more than 151 dB peak SPLs with exact directivity for very-long-throw applications. Sixteen available models offer various degrees of directivity, including two cardioid systems. A lossless Hydra waveform feeds a CD waveguide for pattern control below 350 Hz.

IFBlue, a new value-priced brand from Lectrosonics offers a low-cost IFB (Interruptible Foldback) receiver pack and dock charging system. The new IFBlue receivers are compatible with Lectrosonics IFBT4 transmitters, or any Lectrosonics Digital Hybrid Wireless transmitters operating in IFB compatibility mode, and offer 10 presets, easily programmable from the backlit LCD front panel. Ideal for controlling AC power to projectors, video displays, powered loudspeakers, lighting fixtures, etc., the ROK1 switches single-phase 120 VAC; the ROK2 is used for switching single-phase 240 VAC or two legs of 208 VAC three-phase.
