Austrian Audio OD303 Vocal Mic
Austrian Audio is now in full production on its OD303 dynamic handheld vocal mic. Built rugged for road use, it incorporates the company’s Open Acoustic technology that delivers a supercardioid polar pattern across a wide frequency band with excellent feedback stability. Due to the open design, there are only minimal changes in sound and feedback behavior when cupping or holding the mic close to the head grille. Additionally, the mic’s proprietary 3D Pop Noise Diffuser effectively reduces noise from breaths and plosive consonants. Price: $119/street.

Four-channel models can create hybrid (Lo-Z + Hi-Z) output setups from a single-amp, with sys config and control via Blaze Audio’s PowerZone Control browser-based web app.
DirectOut/RME Digiface Ravenna
The Digiface Ravenna mobile audio interface is based on the Digiface Dante, but features a Ravenna module developed by DirectOut. The device allows transmitting 128 audio channels coming from Ravenna (and optionally MADI) via a single USB 3.0 connection. RME thus expands its Digiface series with a powerful Ravenna model for USB and standalone operation. Onboard TotalMix FX-based DSP can be used to control the comprehensive routing and monitoring options. On the network side, the interface provides AES67 and ST2110-30/31 support and redundant audio-over-IP streaming.
Funktion-One Evo X
Evo X is a full range, completely horn-loaded loudspeaker. Utilizing the latest Funktion-One waveguide technology, it provides 90° horizontal dispersion and high SPLs. Meanwhile, its 15° vertical dispersion focuses the sound on the audience, to minimize room reflections for clear sound. Designed for small to medium live events and installs, its wide bandwidth 8” mid-range extends to 5 kHz — minimizing stress on the 1” HF driver while the 15” mid-bass handles 50 Hz-280 Hz. Evo-X weighs just over 103 pounds and is available in stock and custom finishes.
JBL Pro PRX900 Series
The PRX900 Series includes three powered two-way speakers and two powered subs, built from new proprietary driver systems powered by ultra-efficient Class D amplifiers to deliver clarity, definition, improved dispersion and smooth LF extension. A comprehensive DSP package can control up to 10 speakers. It is accessible via onboard LCDs or JBL Pro’s Connect app, and it includes 12-band PEQ and integrated dbx Drive Rack technology with automatic feedback suppression, soft system limiter and speaker delay settings and presets. The entire series is backed by a seven-year warranty.
JH Audio Ambient IEMs
JH Audio’s next-gen ambient in-ear monitors, Ambient Pro, offers engineers complete control of an artist’s mix using an omnidirectional DPA Microphones capsule imbedded into each ear earpiece. Paired with Lectrosonics’ DCHT Transmitter and DCR822 Digital Receiver, audio is transmitted in stereo directly to the console and back to the artist for a pristine, natural live sound. Ambient Pro features eight balanced armatures per side with a true 4-way crossover. It is modeled around the new RDU Dual Supertweeter for extended treble response.
K-array Firenze KH7
Demoed at last month’s LDI Show in Las Vegas, the Firenze KH7 line features the ability to precisely and independently control each element of the array for deep steering control, continuous, even coverage, transient detail and advanced bass control. Besides the compactness of the Slim Array Technology range, the KH7 line array element has four coaxial 12” neodymium woofers for a peak 141 dB SPL output. An integrated 4-channel Class-D amplifier delivers 2,000 watts to each driver, and its 100° x 30° horn rotates for a wide or narrow pattern.
Lav Magnet Magnetic Mic Clips
Lav Magnet’s magnetic mic clips make it easy to attach lavalier mics and wireless transmitters to clothing. Designed for uses that include theatrical, corporate and house of worship applications, Lav Magnet promises easy on/easy off mic mounting that is nevertheless highly secure. The Lav Magnet single has a powerful magnet attached to a loop for attaching your lavalier’s clip-style mount. A second magnet, attached to a stabilizer stick on the underside of the clothing, holds the mic in place. The transmitter bar has two magnets on a mount that slides under the belt clip, which is held in place by two matching magnets on a thin bar that sets under the clothing.
Meyer Sound Nebra Milan Network
The Nebra software platform offers specific tools with fast, intuitive connectivity for endpoints in Milan AVB networks, including Meyer’s Panther line array, three Ultra-X point-source speakers and the USW-112P compact sub. Nebra also provides comprehensive system monitoring directly via the AVB network or through Meyer’s existing RMS network via the RMServer as well as connectivity for Meyer’s Galileo Galaxy Network Platform and for third-party network devices via the Milan protocol. Neutrik/REAN Power Connectors
The X and G series powerCON-compatible power connectors from Neutrik Americas’ REAN subsidiary offer functionality and reliability to pro users. The X and G Series’ IP65 outdoor use rating allows CBC breaking capacity, for connections or disconnects under load / live conditions, and are offered as lockable (X-Series) chassis inlet/outlet and (G-Series) male/female inline cable versions. Completing the X Series line are rubber sealing covers that protect the Power X chassis connectors from dust and water with IP65 compliance.
On-Stage DB100 Laptop DI Box
The DB100 Laptop DI Box is a passive (no batteries required) transformer-based unit designed to eliminate noise and ground loops that can occur when connecting consumer devices to a P.A. system. Connect the DB100’s stereo 3.5-mm plug on a 10-foot cable into the headphone jack of a laptop or digital music player, and the DI automatically converts the audio signal into a balanced, monaural mic-level XLR output suitable for use with pro consoles and stage boxes. Controls include a volume knob and a ground-lift switch.
PK Sound’s V4 DSP Presets for Trinity Series
