Adamson announces VGs, a flyable / ground stack subwoofer built on the foundation of its E-Series E119 sub, with 6 kW Class-D amplification, onboard DSP, cardioid array presets and a 19” SD19 Kevlar Neodymium long-excursion driver. Max SPL is 139 dB; weight is just 160 pounds. ArrayIntelligence software offers seamless combination of VGs with VGt as well as Adamson’s CS-Series, while the Adamson Bridge provides integration with all legacy ground amplified systems. Connectivity includes analog and redundant, daisy-chainable Milan AVB.
Audix Limited Edition D6X Kick Drum Mic
Audix marks its 40th anniversary with the DX6 limited edition version of one of the company’s best selling mics — its iconic D6 kick mic, which in this special version, features a custom bead-blasted finish and additional filtering options — the original designed-for-22” kick-drum curve (+14 dB at 60 Hz, +15 dB from 4k-5k Hz and +17 dB from 10k to 12k Hz); as well as two flatter options for even greater versatility. Delivering clarity and a warm tone you’d expect from a studio condenser, the handheld supercardioid Peluso Stage One (PS-1) from master mic builder John Peluso of Peluso Microphone Lab provides both high gain and feedback rejection. An -18 dB pad switch matches the gain to familiar dynamic mics; a low-end rolloff switch reduces rumble and a high-end roll-off switch reduces high-frequency noise. QSC New Subwoofer and SysNav Update
V2.2 for QSC’s SysNav (System Navigator) iPAD OS and Windows app for its L-Class speakers lets users easily design, configure, control, monitor and apply DSP to individual loudspeakers, full arrays or groupings of both; along with refinements to the SysNav AIM (Array Installation Modeling) prediction tool. The new LS118 4,000-watt active 18” subwoofer ($2,999 street) offers peak 138 dB SPLs, and onboard DSP for ease of creating cardioid LF arrays. Also new is updated v1.2 firmware for QSC’s popular LA108 and LA112 active line array loudspeakers.

Sound Devices A20-HH Digital Wireless Handheld Mic
Designed for worldwide use, with its SpectraBand 470 – 1,525 MHz tuning range used in Sound Devices’ Astral system, the A20-HH handheld features optimal audio and RF (10-hour runtime) performance. The mic accepts either Shure or Sennheiser capsules, while interchangeable control ring options add one, two or three control buttons (or none at all) for physical control at the transmitter.
