König & Meyer’s new budget-friendly flat base series of speaker and lighting stands offer a small and clean footprint where space is at a premium — a feature not found with tripod stands. Heights are fixed with a steel safety hook, and secured with a low-noise, backlash-free clamping screw. The bases incorporate a carrying handle and cable management routing below the base.
SPECS
All models include a variable height adjustable distance rod with 35mm (1-3/8”) top tube and attach to the base via an M20 bolt. The Model 26731 speaker stand adjusts from 44.7” to 72.25”, weighs 22.5 pounds, and is safety rated to 33 pounds. The Models 24650 and 24653 lighting stands adjust from 55.1” to 94.5”. The 24653 includes three M20 mounting points for a variety of distance rod positions. The lighting stands weigh 31.75 pounds and are safety rated to 44 pounds. Made in Germany, these feature a 5-year warranty and 10-year parts replacement.

Ashly EcoTour Amplifiers
Ashly new EcoTour line is the company’s first FOH / performance install amplifiers in 10 years. The line includes six models — all in rugged 2U, lightweight (18.5- to 24-pound); 2- or 4-channel enclosures from 500 to 3,000 watts per channel. All feature a high-efficiency design that’s stable down to 0.2 (!) ohms and can handle ambient temperatures to 120° F. Other perks include bi-lateral SailFlow cooling, switchable HPF and limiter per channel and a 5-year warranty.

This $14.99 multitrack recording/virtual soundcheck software offers seamless integration with Allen & Heath mixers. With no track count limit, LiveTrax captures performances of all sizes, along with scene changes from A&H consoles, inserting them as markers on the timeline, ready for virtual soundcheck and timecode automation. LiveTrax can sync track names with dLive, Avantis and Qu mixers (CQ and SQ models coming soon) and also open sessions created in Waves Live Tracks and export sessions to Harrison’s Mixbus DAW.
