Allen & Heath AHM Series Audio Matrix Processors
Supported by an ecosystem of scalable I/O, control and Dante solutions, AHM Audio Matrix Processors let integrators quickly create systems that build from a single boardroom to a complete campus. AHM processors deploy next-generation FPGA technology and 96k Hz sample rate, bringing high sound quality and sub-millisecond latency to installs. Processing includes 8-band PEQ, gate, compressor and delay on all input channels, and 8-band PEQ, 30-band GEQ, compressor, ANC, source select, limiter and delay on all zone outputs.
Coda Audio LINUS12C
Coda Audio’s LINUS12C is a 4-channel DSP, networkable amplifier that delivers four 3,000W channels of clean power in a lightweight 2U package. The 32.4-pound LINUS12C utilizes technology from Coda Audio’s LINUS14 to match that flagship model’s reputation for distortion-free reliability and power. The integrated 96 kHz SHARC floating-point DSP includes IIR and linear phase FIR filters; protection systems guard against output DC, SMPS over-current and output overload as well as limiters for inrush current and thermal conditions.
Fulcrum Acoustic AHS Series
A modular, scalable long-throw speaker system offering beam-forming DSP coverage where precise pattern control is required, the AHS440 (45° horizontal) has four HF horns, each paired with a coaxial compression driver. The 60° horizontal AHS460 uses three HF horns. Both models incorporate four high-power 10” woofers. The Compression Head™ extends the LF horn length, allowing for low-frequency extension to 60 Hz in a modest 28” of depth. Frontal dimensions are a compact 36” wide x 31” tall.
K&F VIDA Gets J-Beam Update
A free v1.5 firmware update for Kling & Freitag’s VIDA L column speakers now offers VIDA Beam Steering technology. In addition to selecting the opening angle and beam inclination, VIDA improves K&F’s J-Beam technology with an additional controller for setting the energy distribution within the beam itself, for continuously adjusting the front-to-back level curve to achieve excellent speech intelligibility from the first to the last row.
KV2 ESM312 stage monitor
Designed for large-scale stage monitoring applications, the ESM312 is a high-output, full-range low-profile 3-way passive monitor solution. The unit has two 12” neodymium bass reflex-loaded woofers, a single horn-loaded 6” mid driver woofer and a 1” neodymium compression driver in a compact, elegant Baltic birch cabinet. The ESM312 delivers 133 dB sustained output, with 136 dB peaks and flip-out stands allow for 35- or 45-degree angles.
Martin Audio Offers WPS and SXC118 in White
Martin Audio’s best-selling WPS Wavefront Precision optimized line array system is now available in white, as is its complementary SXC118 subwoofer. The dual-8” WPS line arrays offer optimum HF performance with exemplary MF/HF pattern control, even at higher SPLs. The SXC118 sub combines an 18” front-firing woofer and a rear-facing 14” driver to achieve cardioid LF directionality. The WPS’ feature 100° horizontal dispersion and integral 3-point fly support for up to 16 enclosures.
Meyer Sound PANTHER Line Array
Designed for large-scale touring and installs and shipping this month, Meyer’s new flagship PANTHER line arrays combine two long-excursion 12” woofers and 3” compression drivers with four channels of onboard Class-D powering fed from a dual (analog/Milan AVB network) input module. Three models offer different horizontal dispersion: the 95° PANTHER-M; 110° PANTHER-W; and 80° long-throw PANTHER-L. PANTHER produces nearly the same power and headroom as LEO in the footprint of LYON, yet weighs just 150 pounds. All have IP55 weather protection-rated enclosures.
Pliant Technologies High Density Update for CrewCom
The v1.10 firmware update for Pliant’s CrewCom pro wireless adds new major features, including a High Density mode that increases user densities, supporting up to 32 Radio Packs (RPs) on a single Radio Transceiver (RT) while allowing any of the RPs to communicate using four available full-duplex talk paths. Also, a new Auto Configuration function simplifies system setups. The v1.10 upgrade is free of charge and now available from the Pliant Technologies website.
Royer Labs dBooster2
Royer Labs’ second-generation in-line signal booster, the dBooster2, is not only an exceptional phantom-powered signal booster and impedance buffer for both ribbon and dynamic mics, but also adds independent 2-channel functionality and can double as a DI to accommodate signal levels for electric guitar, bass, and other unbalanced guitar level sources. Each channel offers two levels of clean mic gain boost: 12 dB or 20 dB for achieving optimum balance between gain and headroom.
Whirlwind ISOPODCI
This professional audio interface for the headset jack of a mobile device is ideal for remote conferencing and audio presentations. This a unique adapter converts the TRRS jack audio of any mobile device into professional balanced signals. Output signals from the headphone section are transformer balanced and returned through two 3-pin male XLR jacks. Line-level audio sources can be sent into the microphone input of the mobile device through a balanced XLR input. A four-conductor 3.5mm TRRS cable is included.
