2022 InfoComm Product Preview

Share this Post:

InfoComm — well, a REAL InfoComm show — is finally back and returns to the expanded Las Vegas Convention Center with three days of exhibits from June 3-5, 2022. There should be lots to see — and hear — and even just days after the NAMM Show, InfoComm promises more than a few surprises in terms of new product unveils, and in Las Vegas, that is what’s known as a safe bet.

With that in mind, we present this section with peeks at a few of the sound reinforcement and audio installation goodies (listed alphabetically) you should check out while at the show. Speaking of that, team FRONT of HOUSE will be there, checking out the action to report on fohonline.com and in future print (and digital versions) issues of the magazine. See you there!

1 Sound Contour CT28

The Contour compact, 3-way passive horn-loaded speaker delivers a controlled 100° x 50° directional coverage down to 200 Hz, with a bass response to 70 Hz. Its point-source, medium- to-long throw design maintains its directionality in the far-field and can deliver a max SPL of 145 dB, yet sounds intimate at lower volumes. Components include two 8” LF drivers, a 4” with a 2-inch coaxial MF/HF driver in a 13.6 x 13.6 x 20” Finland birch cabinet in black or white with custom colors available.

Adamson Load Library 5.3

Load Library 5.3 for the Lake Processor optimizes the ease of use of linear phase and conventional crossover settings. Defaults for E, S, and IS-Series cabinets use linear phase x-overs; additional settings for S and IS-Series cabinets offer 5ms less latency by using conventional crossovers. Additional subwoofer presets are time-aligned to conventional crossover presets and can be used when subs are placed farther from the reference position to avoid applying delays to line arrays or point sources.
