Quote: “On my most difficult day, I still love this!”

Personal Info: Audio engineer since 1982. At SDC since July 1994, running live sound for bands and production shows with fellow tech crewmembers I call my friends. My favorite type of act to engineer is acoustic bluegrass music. It is so fulfilling to have a group of talented musicians take the stage with nothing but their wooden instruments, awesome talent and microphones to capture that. To hear such excellent music coming from the stage through my console and into the house is a feeling that each engineer needs to experience. I am privileged to engineer shows for Grammy-nominated and Grammy-winning groups that give our live audience a performance that they usually only see on TV or hear on the radio.
