Big sounds can come in small packages, as evidenced by the products in this month’s Buyers Guide, focused on compact line array systems having LF drivers smaller than seven inches in diameter. And while these are probably not the best choice in a large outdoor concert of arena environment, such systems are perfectly suited to many small to medium venues, especially where the ability of these systems to provide discrete, low-profile sound may be the perfect solution.
