Aviom's Pro64 Network Manager is a PC-based application that provides status monitoring and control of a Pro64 audio network from a central location. The graphical interface helps users manage complex audio networks. Individual device settings can be changed without manual front panel adjustments. Aviom announced that the software is now available for download.
Pro64 Network Manager connects to a Pro64 audio network via RS-232 and makes use of the network's built-in Managed Mode to simplify tasks related to supporting and configuring Pro64 networks. All network settings can be monitored, including channel activation and routing, internal/external clock source, sample rate, m-control, firmware version and channel naming.
Pro64 Network Manager operates with two main windows, the Network Overview and the Device Window. The Network Overview displays all Pro64 devices active in the network, showing channel ranges for all I/O devices and providing tools for sorting and naming devices and locations, helping users manage individual devices and the system as a whole.
Settings for individual Pro64 devices are accessed through the Device Window, each of which is tailored to the needs of the device type. Setup of more complex products, such as the 6416m Mic Input Module, can be done through the simple graphic view of the preamp's channel strips and presets.
Pro64 Network Manager helps users track and allocate network resources and speeds reconfiguration of individual devices and entire systems.
