Harman Professional named Mark Posgay, a 17-year industry veteran, as sales director for the U.S. Posgay will report to Scott Robbins, vice president of sales.
"Our moves to consolidate sales operations in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Potters Bar, United Kingdom have paid a strong dividend in terms of effectiveness and efficiency," Robbins said. "Having Mark Posgay onboard to lead the Elkhart-based national sales team promises equally strong results from our new US sales operation."
Before joining Harman, Posgay worked for Mars Music and, more recently, at Monster Cable. He has a BS in Psychology from the University of Florida.
"I look forward to working with the brand teams, our reps and our divisional leaders to engineer successful programs that address our core markets and new verticals where the threshold for good sound systems continues to increase," Posgay said.
