TALA, Kenya – Sound Creations recently equipped an event truck with dBTechnologies DVX and Flexsys active boxes for sound reinforcement. Equipped with four DVX D15s, two S20s, two Flexsys F15s and one Flexsys F10 powered speaker, the vehicle is being used for outdoor promotions of products and events in the region.
"The dBTechnologies gear was chosen for its clarity; technically it's great,' said Nipul Shah of Nairobi-based Sound Creations. "Without much effort the sound traveled almost 100 meters, with a really good bass. It's really easy to set up, and the price to performance ratio is a bonus, too."
Commissioned by Siqqel Holdings, the truck's inaugural appearance was in the town of Tala, where crowds gathered for a 'Mulika Mwizi' event. "Everyone was satisfied and the occasion was a great success," said Nipul, who called the dBTechnologies loudspeakers "user-friendly."
The Flexsys line comes with on-board DSP and bi-amped digital power amps, and the DVX system features include a high quality input board, multifunctional birch multiplex housings and flexible configuration options well-suited to a wide array of applications.
Nipul expects to install more dBTechnologies boxes soon. "Our client is planning to buy another two trucks with our dBTechnologies sound in the next two to three months," he noted.
