ANDALO – Hollywood Service chose Proel Audio systems and Turbosound – in combination with 33 Powersoft amplifiers K series – to power the 2010 edition of the World Alpine Rockfest.
British alt band Placebo performed at the slopeside Concert Stadium after top ski racers including Bode Miller and Davide Simoncelli vied for World Ski Championship bragging rights.
Proel and Powersoft systems were also used for PA in the ski competition area. The gear there included 16 Proel Axiom AX3210P, 16 Sub Edge 121SP, 6 Powersoft K10 digital amplifiers and 2 DSO480 digital processors.
For the sound inside a large structure at the bottom of the slopes, there were 8 Axiom 2265P, 8 AX1115SP, 2 fly bar, 3 Powersoft K4 digital amplifiers and one DSO480 digital processor.
For the live concert, the gear list included, for main PA, 24 Turbosound module TFA-600H (12 each side), 8 Turbosound module TFA600HW (4 each side), 2 Turbosound flybar FB-600, 20 Turbosound subwoofer TSW-218 (10 each side) and 8 Turbosound TFA-600L (cardioid mode), with 4 Turbosound TA-500T for front fill.
The concert electronics included 6 racks for amplifiers, 8 Turbosound LMS-D26, 12 Powersoft PS K10 digital amplifiers, 12 Powersoft PS K4 digital amplifiers, 6 SDC32CT three-phase power modules, 6 SAMIL37 signal patch (Turbosound version), 6 SASOX48 power patch (Turbosound version); and for side fill, 2 Turbosound TSW-218 and 2 Turbosound TFA-600L.
