KIDDERMINSTER, U.K. – Loud And Pro has become the first Hungarian rental company to own a Midas PRO6 live audio system, purchasing two for its PA inventory. Loud And Pro, launched 10 years ago, is now the biggest backline supplier in the country, and has diversified into PA rentals.
"We have a small PA system at the moment, but it was time to upgrade," said Loud And Pro's sales and marketing manager Levente Csecsi."We contacted many Hungarian distributors including Midas distributor Bluesound, who suggested we try a PRO6 and invited us for a demo. It wasn't hard to convince our boss. We bought two, enabling us to provide a dual FOH/ monitor system. We'll be mainly using them for festivals, for open air stadium gigs, arena concerts, and so on."
CEO Thomas Balog credited the PRO6 as a good fit for the venues he deals with. He attended a three day training session at Midas' HQ in Kidderminster, and the company will be carrying out in-house training for Hungarian engineers who want to learn about Midas digital systems.
Csecsi and Balog also cited ease of use and sound quality as key selling points. "We know it won't be a problem during festivals for sound engineers who haven't used a PRO6; I'm sure everyone will be happy to learn how to use a Midas digital desk," said Csecsi. "We have now invested in other new equipment at the same standard as the PRO6, and expect to start attracting the big projects in Hungary now."
