UTRECHT, The Netherlands — Dutch distributor Heuff recently purchased a Proel Axiom Array System to promote the Proel brand in the Netherlands. It has been used at events including Roffest Utrecht. The Proel system consists of the following items: 24 AX2265P Axiom Series vertical Array compact speakers, 16 AX1115SP Axiom Series compact subs and six Edge121SP Edge Series subs.
Dutch artists Jan Smit, Van Velzen, Starkoo, Lisa, De 3 J’s, Jannes and Peter Beense have used the Proel gear, and are said to have been impressed by it, as were the performers at Roffest Utrecht, which is devoted to Hip Hop music.
At first, the engineers were skeptical, because the system looked small, but when the system was powered up, they were surprised by the small loudspeakers’ power, including the low frequencies that are particularly important to rap artists.
