Mackie’s TH-15A 2-Way Powered Loudspeaker delivers 400 Watts of system power in a design weighing in at 36lbs (16.3kg). Designed by the same team that created the Mackie SRMv2 Series, the TH-15A is touted for its power, portability and performance in a compact PA solution.
The TH-15A makes use of Mackie Active technology, which incorporates an active crossover and driver time and phase alignment for system performance. The TH-15A comes with a 15-inch woofer, a 1-inch compression driver and a user-adjustable 3-band EQ with a sweepable mid, which is well-suited for smaller setups without a lot of outboard gear. The cabinet is trapezoidal, allowing for use as a monitor wedge, and the design makes pole-mounting easier. The Mackie TH-15A will be available globally in September 2009 at a U.S. MSRP of $469.99.
