WUPPERTAL, Germany — Riedel Communications, expanded its RockNet team with the addition of Thorsten Schulze, who was named product manager for multimedia and entertainment.
Schulze, former product manager at Optocore, brings 20 years of pro audio experience, include responsibilities for events like the Papal Visit at the World Youth Meeting in Cologne with more than 1.3 million visitors and the planning for the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.
Schulze has also played a role in productions ranging from the German Opera and Philharmonics in Berlin, the Papal visit in Slovenia and various Mayday events in St. Petersburg, Brussels and Berlin.
“I’m excited about the new opportunities that come with joining Riedel Communications as a product manager for RockNet. After years of working in the pro audio field, I’m looking forward to expand Riedel’s development with RockNet in this markets,” Schulze said.
Schulze will oversee RockNet and its integration with Riedel’s fiber-based signal transport technology, MediorNet.
