WUXI, China — A $200 million Buddhist temple that opened here in May was the culmination of a multi-year construction and interior design effort in cooperation with the Chinese Association for Buddhism.
Along with Buddhist services and ceremonies, the temple is home to theatrical performances, exhibitions, conferences and other events. There is also a 280-foot-high sculpture of the Buddha, taller even than the Statue of Liberty.
Gear from Germany-based KS Audio was chosen for the temple’s audio system, including various KS Audio speakers, amplifiers (TA4D 4×1000 watts each) and KS digital controllers, which address a variety of acoustic challenges in many of the temple’s rooms and venues.
