NILES, IL — Shure Inc. has formed a new Americas business unit by combining the sales, marketing, and support staff of the company’s International Americas business unit with the business unit that had previously been dedicated to the U.S.

“To drive sustained growth for the company, we decided to align these two business units into one,” said Chris Schyvinck, Shure’s executive vice president of global marketing and sales, with one unit now covering the U.S., Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.

Mark Humrichouser, who had been the general manager of the U.S. business unit, was appointed general manager of the Americas Business Unit. José Rivas was named the new unit’s director of sales. Terri Hartman was named director of marketing, which includes advertising, marketing communications, public relations, and artist relations.

Althea Ricketts was named director of support services, managing the business unit’s customer service, applications engineering and training departments. Chris Salay was named director, financial analysis, analyzing the business unit’s revenue, expenses and profitability.
