THESSALONIKA, Greece — Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren, promoting his album Imagine (The Remixes), used a Turbosound system for a crowd of 3,500 at the Mamounia Club.
Supplied by Ilias Siatras of sound rental company Audio S (pictured left with Pavlos Symperas of Turbosound’s Greek distributor, Metro Audio Systems), the system comprised eight Turbosound TA-500 Aspect Wide mid/high loudspeakers and eight TSW-218 subs.
“The show was incredibly successful,” said Pavlos, noting that the audio system was able to reproduce the nuances of van Buuren’s trance-centric music.
“This kind of DJ event is ideal for Aspect Wide, the cabinets covered the audience perfectly, but with no loss of power or audio quality,” Pavlos said. “The sound was fantastic throughout the venue and everyone was extremely happy with how the system performed.”
