The Aero 12A incorporates a new D.A.S. 12LN4C, 12” low frequency transducer with a 3” voice coil and neodymium magnet motor assembly. Highs are handled by the new M-75N neodymium compression driver featuring a pure titanium diaphragm and a 75 mm copper-clad, aluminum flat-wire voice coil.
The driver is attached to a new BPS-9010 aluminum waveguide-horn assembly. The self-powered Aero 12A includes 24 bit DSP for control. The captive rigging system splay angles range from 0º to 10º and can be adjusted in 0.5º increments from 0º to 3º and 1º increments from 3º to 10 º. A new rigging bumper can be used to fly or ground stack the Aero 12A with the optional KITGS-Aero12 ground stacking kit, with three adjustable pods, four rigging guides and quick release pins. A rigging adapter (AX-Combo12) allows the Aero 12A to be flown under other Aero units as a downfill system. To facilitate vertical stacking, a steel dolly, which can hold six Aero 12A units, is also available.
