MARCOUSSIS, France — L-Acoustics has launched the Rental Network, an international platform to serve the community of line source array owners. The new network replaces the V-DOSC Partnership, which had been in use since 1993. The company said the new network simplifies the previous conditions of agreement for rental agents and provides benefits including international rental guidelines, advanced technical support and exposure through the company’s official Network Directory.
Following the introduction of its newly-packaged LA8 electronics, the Network standard is now called the “K” standard and currently includes KUDO, K1, associated subwoofers, the new LA-RAK touring rack and system accessories, such as rigging and cabling.
A new training program offers two levels of qualification: the System Technician, which covers system design, installation and testing/tuning, and the more advanced K System Engineer, or KSE.
