BANGALORE, India — Although V&P Sound PVT. Ltd. has stepped into the digital age with a Soundcraft Vi6™console for recent events, many of the independent engineers mixing for performers at the annual Rock Ethos festival here last month haven’t. So V&P Sound provided Soundcraft MH2 and MH3 analog consoles for their benefit.

While not digital, the MH2 was still proved to work well at the monitor position. “The aux sends have plenty of output to drive the monitors to the proper levels and above all, the MH2 has the amazing classic British EQ,” said Mallesh, monitor engineer, V&P Sound.

The Soundcraft MH3 console was used for both FOH and monitor use.  “The Soundcraft MH3 has one of the best gain structures among analog consoles and the easy set-up, logical layout of matrix routing, mute groups and VCAs allowed the engineers to work fast and efficiently at Rock Ethos,” said Vishnu. “We also would like thank Cinetekk (Varadhan Swamy) for all their support to us for Harman Pro products.”

Soundcraft and Studer are units of Harman International Industries, Inc.
