LUTON, U.K. — With its coffers refreshed by a recent investment by China-based Soundking Group Company Ltd., Cadac Holdings Ltd. is getting ready to unveil a range of new products at Prolight + Sound 2009, which takes place in Frankfurt, Germany from April 1-4.
Cadac said the production version of the S-Digital mixing console would be joined by the first of three series of brand new compact analog consoles — the Live1 — together with the new Cadac LiveWire 32/8 digital multi-core stagebox and breakout system.
“In just a few short weeks, Cadac is already seeing the benefits of the initial phases of Soundking’s investment in the company, with the first new designs making their debut at Prolight + Sound,” said Cadac general manager Bob Thomas.
“Everything is going full tilt at our Luton factory, where we are working flat out to fulfill a large number of sales orders — with S-Types, F-Types, and an R-Type shipping out to Russia, Germany, Korea and China, together with a quantity of J-Type modules for the USA and Australia,” Thomas added.
“At the same time, we are also recruiting digital and analog engineers in line with our forward product development program. Prolight + Sound will see the launch of a brand new analog product line, with the Live1 Series consoles.
“We are extremely excited about the future,” Thomas added. “Prolight + Sound is a taste of things to come.”
The Soundking Group Company Limited has been established for more than 20 years, and is headquartered in Ningbo, close to Shanghai.
