Personal Info: My name is Grover Washington, III. I grew up in the touring business. I've been a tour manager, production manager, stage manager, carpenter, FOH engineer, monitor engineer and backline tech. My father was Grover Washington, Jr., so I've been around the touring business for over 30+years. I was taught and mentored by the best engineers in the business, Marty Garcia and Craig Melvin Sheppard.
Hobbies: Music, music and more music! I also enjoy basketball, billiards and touring. I can't forget my kids — they are the reason I sacrifice so many days away from home.
Equipment: Anything analog, preferably Midas. Anything Digital, but Yamaha PM5D seems to show up everywhere. Klark Teknik Digital EQs, any dBX gear. Only Future Sonics personal monitors. You name it, I've worked with it!
Don’t leave home without: Passport, Skype account, pictures of my wife and kids, compact Flash cards/USB drives for digital consoles and a valid credit card!
