The Metrix series is meant for installations and is designed for speech reinforcement, medium sound pressure levels and exceptional clarity. It can be paired with a bass enclosure like the Metrix double 15-inch convertible cardioid sub for a fuller frequency response.
The Metrix Series also is designed for use as a front-, side-, lip- or stage-fill. They feature a 5-degree vertical by 120-degree horizontal coverage pattern, and the Metrix Wave a 15-degree vertical dispersion, respectively.
A newly designed Adamson ND8-ML 8.5” Kevlar neodymium mid-low frequency driver is optimized for these 2-way enclosures and is paired with a new B&C DE800 1.4-inch HF compression driver, mounted on Adamson’s patented HF wave-shaping chamber.
The Metrix enclosures are recommended to be flown in arrays of six enclosures or more and can be purchased as the Metrix-i (-installation) featuring the brand new Enclosed Installation Rigging (EIR) system. The Metrix cabinets are Adamson’s answer for the permanent installation market, where sightline and visual distractions are not an option. They can be special ordered to match any color requested.
