BOISE, ID — Humpin’ Hannah’s in Boise, Idaho, recently upgraded its sound system with JBL Professional VP Series powered loudspeakers to accommodate its high-energy, eclectic environment. Located in the heart of downtown Boise, Humpin’ Hannah’s has been a staple of the city’s nightlife since it opened almost 29 years ago, and the tri-level venue serves as both a live rock club and dance club. The upgraded system includes four VP7215/64DPAN powered, 15-inch loudspeakers, which are powered bi-amplified full-range loudspeakers designed for portable or installed use. They offer 60 x 40-degree coverage and feature a 15-inch Differential Drive low-frequency driver for extended low-frequency output.

“We average almost 1,000 people on any given Saturday night, so we needed a PA system that could handle a lot of volume, but was lightweight enough to reconfigure if necessary,” said Rocci Johnson, co-owner of Humpin’ Hannah’s and lead singer of the club’s resident rock outfit, The Rocci Johnson Band. Johnson continued, “It’s so nice to have the amps enclosed, and they don’t interfere with the sound at all. We get very clean sound out of them, and it’s very easy to move the speakers around for different events.”
