ORLANDO — Pro audio system manufacturer L-ACOUSTICS recently announced the release of its new integrated amplifier and DSP platform based on two very similar models. Both the LA4 and LA8 amplified controllers offer loudspeaker amplification, DSP, network control and loudspeaker system protection in a single package. L-ACOUSTICS has brought these products to the market through a joint venture agreement with German power amplifier manufacturer CAMCO, and both companies have been actively collaborating on the development of the new amplified controllers, which are manufactured for L-ACOUSTICS by Wenden-based CAMCO.
Christian Heil, CEO of L-ACOUSTICS, explains, "The joint venture with CAMCO on the LA4 and LA8 is the outcome of years of thinking on the future specifications and features of our system approach.
