WATERLOO, ON –– Martin Audio has announced the W8L "Longbow," a new version of the Wavefront W8L line array systems. Features of the system include: Three-way line array element; Horn-loaded 15-inch LF, 1m (single cabinet); Twin 8-inch mid-horn, 1m (single cabinet); Quad 1-inch HF horn, 1m (single cabinet); ViewPoint software; factory controller presets; compatibility with W8LS; compatibility WLX, WSX, WS218X. Martin Audio also recently unveiled its new range of LE stage monitors, the LE2100, LE1500 and LE1200.
The LE2100 is a three-way bi-amp only, differential dispersion stage monitor designed for large-stage applications where maximum SPL is required. It features twin 12-inch (300mm) low frequency drivers, a unique 6.5-inch (165mm) midrange device and a 1-inch (25mm) exit compression driver mounted on a differential dispersion horn.
The LE1500 features a 15-inch (380mm) low frequency drive unit and a 1.4-inch (35mm) exit compression driver mounted on a differential dispersion horn.
Finally, the Martin Audio LE1200 features a 12-inch (300mm) low frequency drive unit and a 1.4-inch (35mm) exit compression driver mounted on a differential dispersion horn.
Lastly, Martin Audio recently celebrated 35 years in loudspeaker design and manufacturing.
Commenting on this milestone in the company's history, managing director David Bissett-Powell stated, "I knew David Martin back in the early days and we continued a relationship right up until his untimely death. I think he'd be quite proud of how the company has progressed and the team that we've built over the last 15 years.
