TT+ AUDIO by RCF brings flagship GTX touring system components to AES Show 2024 NY

RCF, currently celebrating 75 years of authentic performance sound, is displaying its live sound solutions during the AES Show 2024 New York, booth 319, in the Jacob Javits Convention Center, October 8-10. Included in the show offerings will be the TT+ AUDIO GTX 10 by RCF compact two-way line array module for mid-large scale, high-demand, touring and installed indoor and outdoor sound applications. Also on display will be the companion TTR 16K touring amplification rack. The combination demonstrates the TT+ AUDIO flagship GTX touring system’s design philosophy of decoupling power amplification and processing from the GTX 10 and the larger three-way GTX 12 loudspeaker enclosures.

The GTX 10 delivers a max SPL of 143 dB and deploys a four-inch neodymium compression driver to reproduce high frequencies with detail and accuracy through its 110-by-15-degree waveguide. The low end is handled by two 10-inch neodymium woofers incorporating TT+ AUDIO’s HyperVented technology for tight, impactful bass. The combination delivers pristine playback quality and optimized directivity across the frequency spectrum. Additional low frequency power and extension is available with the addition of the GTS 29 high-performance, dual 19-inch flyable subwoofer.

Each TTR 16K touring rack can house up to three XPS 16K 4-channel DSP amplifiers, integrating AC power distribution, signal routing, and network connectivity (including a Dante option). Each XPS 16K four-channel DSP amplifier delivers a full system worth of DSP (including advanced, proprietary algorithms) and ample power – 4×4000 W Class D continuous power at 2.7 ohms, 40-bit floating-point processing at 96 kHz, and 32-bit internal routing. A single TTR 16K touring rack can power a complete 6+6 GTX 10 system with four GTS 29 double 19-inch subwoofers.

The GTX 10 features a tour-ready robust plywood enclosure finished in a rugged, weather-resistant polyurea coating, including heavy-duty front grilles and quick-connect bayonet-style connectors. Suspension hardware has been optimized for rapid assembly in both tension and compression modes.

The turnkey, 11 RU TTR 16K touring racks additionally feature rugged S-COM and P-COM multipole connectors for signal and power, network switches for Dante audio transport, AC power inputs and outputs, and control network, and an easy-to-access XLR and AES/EBU patch-bay for rapid routing. The rack design also optimizes air ventilation between devices.

The GTX family also includes RDNET management software (with built in system and acoustic performance analysis) and SHAPE D3D system design and modeling software.

TT+ AUDIO by RCF brings compact yet powerful active loudspeaker/sub duo to AES Show 2024 NY

RCF, currently celebrating 75 years of authentic performance sound, will be displaying its live sound solutions during the AES Show 2024 New York, booth 319, in the Jacob Javits Convention Center, October 8-10. The show offerings include components from the RCF’s premier TT+ AUDIO line of high-performance sound reinforcement loudspeakers for live concerts, performing arts, sporting events, speech reinforcement, and fixed installations. Among the featured products will be the TT 515-A professional active speaker and TT 808-AS professional active subwoofer.

Flexibility, power, and compactness make the TT 515-A ideal for installed and portable professional applications where size and weight are critical factors. The design approach combines the advantages of TT+ technology such as controlled dispersion, outstanding clarity and extreme power, multiple flexible rigging accessories, weatherproof protection, and RDNET real-time monitoring and management software with recallable presets. Whether it’s used as a compact main system, as fills, or surrounds in a larger system, the TT 515-A is quick to deploy, fast to tune and well suited for 3D/immersive sound, nearfield systems, and productions that demand extreme sound quality.

The TT 515-A’s transducer configuration includes two custom-loaded 5-inch cone drivers and a rotatable CMD 100×70 degree pattern waveguide surrounding a titanium 1.75-inch high-frequency compression driver. Its two-channel 2000 W (1000 W RMS) amplifier is small, ultra-silent, and fanless. Each TT 515-A delivers a max SPL of 127 dB. An internal low-noise 32-bit DSP circuit DSP has a comprehensive range of protections for the transducers and includes special proprietary FiRPHASE EQ and Bass Motion Control (BMC) processing to achieve coherent distribution of sound without phase distortion and deep, tight bass at any volume.

The amplifier and DSP are controlled through RCF’s proprietary RDNET Networked Management software to easily monitor and control all the advanced features and settings including soft clipping limiters, RMS limits, polarity, amplitude, timing, and equalization. The available control panel on the back of the loudspeaker adjusts volume, high-pass, and bypass. The regulated universal power supply guarantees full power from 100 VAC to 260 VAC for worldwide compatibility. The amplifier is housed in a unique Vibrostop floating aluminum panel for extra protection during transportation.

The TT 515-A’s waterproof cabinet is built in high-strength Baltic birch plywood coated with black, robust, and scratch-resistant polyurea paint. Attached to a solid machined-aluminum structure at the back, the amplifier heat dissipation is efficient and the cabinet is sturdy and stiff. A strong powder-coated metal grille protects the front, and an acoustically transparent sound foam backing on the inside of the grille ensures protection from dust and humidity.

With multiple rigging accessories and the unobtrusive form factor of the cabinet, TT 515-A is suitable for a wide range of configurations including hanging, pole-, truss-, wall- or ceiling-mounting — at any angle in horizontal or vertical orientation.

The TT 808-AS is a compact low-profile high-performance active subwoofer. It features two vented-loaded 8″ cone, neodymium magnet woofers powered by a 1000 W two-channel amplifier (one channel for each woofer) with an integrated low-noise 32-bit DSP circuit. Management and tuning are available via RDNet software (with the same range of functionality as the TT 515-A plus subwoofer array configuration settings.) or by utilizing two preset buttons. Rear panel control further includes a polarity button, low pass filtering, a TT 515-A custom crossover, bypass and a variable delay. Flexible rigging includes two threaded pole-mounts for horizontal and vertical placement with two stabilizing brackets that make the vertical placement stable and firm. The cabinet, amplifier mounting and universal power supply share the same design approach as the TT 515-A’s. TT 808-AS subs can be used stand-alone, in subwoofer arrays, or as the low-frequency complement for TT 515-A loudspeakers.

While the TT 515-A can be deployed as a compact main system or to supplement a larger system, when paired with the TT 808-AS subwoofer to extend its low-frequency range the combination creates a powerful full-range main system with an incredibly small footprint which delivers uncompromised sound without blocking critical sightlines.

RCF, currently celebrating 75 years of authentic performance sound, will be displaying its live sound solutions during the AES Show 2024 New York, booth 319, in the Jacob Javits Convention Center, October 8-10. Featured products will include the recently introduced NXL 14-A column speaker and its perfect companion, the SUB 15-AX professional active 15-inch subwoofer.

The most compact model in RCF’s NXL active column speaker series, the NXL 14-A offers remarkable power and sound clarity by way of premium, best-in-class RCF transducers – dual 6-inch woofers and a 1.75-inch PKX driver on a rotatable TRW waveguide – and an onboard 2100W amplifier. The NXL 14-A, available in black or white, is ideal for both portable and fixed-install professional applications where size is a critical factor, spanning bands, DJs, clubs, and rental companies.

RCF’s NXL series of full-range, column, line array speakers can be used vertically coupled for improved vertical coverage, alone or paired with a sub, and offer flexible rigging options allowing them to be flown or truss-mounted using the included rigging points and special accessories. The loudspeakers are housed in rugged, high-quality Baltic birch plywood cabinet, with ergonomic handles on each side making them easy to carry.

The SUB 15-AX is a portable 15-inch high-power active subwoofer for live sound applications that combines the latest-generation transducer with a powerful 2200 W Class-D amplifier that delivers max SPLs up to 133 dB with exceptional clarity and headroom. It delivers fully-featured processing, a large 2.4-inch color touch panel, rotary push controller while the RCF LiveRemote App for iOS and Android delivers remote control via Bluetooth. RCF SUB AX subwoofers are designed specifically for small- to mid-sized venues and are ideal for portable applications. Speaker management is centralized inside the subwoofer, providing dual crossovers, eight-band EQs, routing, delays, cardioid configurations, and recallable crossover presets. The polyurea-coated all-wood cabinet features a sealed Powercon True1 Top connector. I/O also includes a dual XLR/TRS combo input + link and dual XLR crossover outputs.

The SUB 15-AX subwoofer is easy to deploy, with crossover presets for RCF speakers and FiRPHASE linear phase processing to match the subwoofer phase down to the lowest frequencies. Its advanced DSP processing also includes RCF’s proprietary Bass Motion Control excursion management, full-range eight-band parametric EQ and up to 45 meters of delay.

RCF NX 932-A professional active loudspeaker

RCF offers its NX 932-A loudspeaker and SUB 18-AX as mid-sized venue sound solution at AES Show 2024 NY

Featured products will include the NX 932-A professional active loudspeaker and its perfect complement, the SUB 18-AX portable high-power active subwoofer.

The NX 932-A is masterfully engineered from the ground up to deliver stellar audio performance for sound providers, small bands and DJs. The loudspeaker combines a 3-inch titanium/neodymium compression driver (allowing a crossover point at only 800 Hz for excellent impulse response, fast decay, and superior efficiency), 12-inch woofer (with a 2.5-inch voice coil that delivers tight, punchy bass and accurate, transparent and distortion-free mid-bass reproduction), two-channel 2100 W amplifier (the most powerful amplifier in its class), and a constant directivity True Resistive Waveguide (which produces coherent 100-degree x 70-degree coverage). Used as a stand-alone speaker for an FOH system, as a satellite with subwoofer, stage monitor or flown speaker, the NX 932-A blends high performance and reliability in a compact package. Its tour-ready, rugged all-wood cabinet is easy to carry and secure to install, whether pole-, flown-, wall- or truss-mounted using its six M10 and four Quick Lock dedicated rigging points.

The NX 932-A’s Class-D amplifier is energy-efficient (so there’s no need for a cooling fan), and it is 50-percent more powerful than previous models, with an ultra-fast attack and realistic transient response. The amp drives the loudspeaker’s advanced design compression driver and woofer to deliver up to 132 dB SPL of distortion-free sound. The input circuit features a new low-distortion design with an advanced safety limiter, maintaining the true character of the input signal at all levels.

The NX 932-A’s onboard processing includes RCF’s proprietary Bass Motion Control (BMC) and FiRPHASE algorithms. BMC replaces high pass filters with advanced woofer excursion management to protect woofer motion from becoming destructive without changing phase behavior, while FiRPHASE maintains zero-degree phase linearity for a transparent acoustic wave with perfect imaging at minimum latencies.

The SUB 18-AX is a portable professional 18-inch high-power active subwoofer for live sound applications with fully featured processing (including dual crossovers, 8-band EQs, routing, delays, cardioid configurations, and recallable crossover presets and eight snapshots plus RCF’s advanced, proprietary FiRPHASE linear phase and BMC excursion management algorithms), a large 2.4-inch color touch panel and rotary push controller. The RCF LiveRemote App for iOS and Android delivers remote control via Bluetooth. The combination of a latest-generation transducer with a powerful 2200 W Class-D amplifier delivers sound pressure levels up to 135 dB with exceptional clarity and headroom.
