MELLab MYc-3 omnidirectional microphones are now available in the U.S. from Rational Acoustics (rationalacoustics.com). Designed for P.A. system optimization, the Italian-made MYc-3 is a professional measurement microphone featuring extremely linear, low-distortion performance. Specs include a free-field frequency response between 10 Hz and 20,000 Hz (±2 dB), a THD of approximately 1% at 130 dB SPL (less than 3% at 140 dB SPL) and each mic includes its own response correction file and calibration chart. Features include robust construction, a removable tip with spring contact, colored ring, laser engraved serial number and waterproof case.
The MYc-3 Microphone is available singly ($325 USD) and in matched pairs, triples and quads. Matched sets of 5 or 6 can also be ordered.
