Tour Details
Mitch Rowland, who has co-written hit songs and toured as a guitarist with Harry Styles, is an Ohio-born multi-instrumentalist now living in London with his wife, English drummer Sarah Jones. Both Rowland and Jones performed on Harry Styles’ first and second world tours, Live on Tour (2017-2018) and Love on Tour (2021-2023), which also got audio assists from Britannia Row and Clair Global. The 2024 U.S. trek, in support of Rowland’s first solo album, Come June (released Oct. 2023), kicked off Feb. 25 at the Fillmore in San Francisco and wrapped up March 22 at Minneapolis’ Fine Line.
“Mitch is not an up-and-coming artist, he’s been touring arenas and stadiums for years, so he’s used to high-level touring,” says monitor mixer/production manager Christian Zuniga, another Harry Styles Love on Tour alum. “However, when he presented this new project, he wanted to play in small theaters instead of opening for a big tour. Every place has been special as each venue carries history. It’s one of the best tours I’ve been a part of; we got to see a new side of him.”
Working closely with FOH Engineer Miguel Tapia, Christian continues: “Miguel is one the finest mix engineers out there, and Lez Dwight, director of Britannia Row and operations coordinator Shawn Dier from Clair LA’s office have all been so supportive of us. I thought that smaller tours wouldn’t get the same attention as the big ones, but I was wrong!”
