BARCELONA, Spain – ISE 2024 is set to take place at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via from Jan. 30 to Feb. 2, 2024. This special 20th anniversary edition is expected to be the biggest yet, as ISE celebrates two decades of pro AV and systems integration innovation and excellence.

Since it began in 2004, Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) – the world’s premier exhibition for professional audio visual (pro AV) and systems integration – has grown in size, strength and influence to become an industry-defining event. Every year, ISE brings together professionals, innovators and thought leaders across multiple industry sectors from around the world.
Celebrating 20 Years of Innovation
ISE’s journey from its humble beginnings in Geneva, to becoming the definitive event it is today has been a remarkable success story. Over the past two decades, ISE has served as a catalyst for groundbreaking technological advances, fostered meaningful connections and dialogue and propelled the systems integration industry to new heights.
“This special 20th anniversary edition of ISE will be our biggest ever event, with an expanded show floor which is already 17% bigger than last year, two new halls, over 80 new exhibitors currently confirmed and several special features and attractions to mark the occasion, including an Anniversary Treasure Hunt. We also are planning a number of special activities throughout Barcelona, including extending our partnership with the Barcelona Llum lighting festival – watch out for more news in the coming weeks,” said Mike Blackman, Managing Director at Integrated Systems Events.

In the world of audio, video and lighting, the live events and fixed installation markets enjoy a mutually beneficial relationship.
Many manufacturers are able to make their R&D budgets go further by deploying their technologies in both markets. In addition, the events world’s shorter timescales mean that new technologies and solutions often get added to the inventory of rental houses for use in live events before they are specified by integrators for fixed installs.
Whether it’s concerts, music festivals, sporting events or product launches, visitors want to be wowed. As the live events sector continues to strengthen in the wake of its lockdown-enforced hiatus, audience expectations continue to rise once again.
In addition, attracting and retaining audiences at theatres, music venues and houses of worship requires operators to continually raise the bar on the quality and engagement of the experiences they create. This translates to more and more opportunity for pro AV as venues seek to use technology to raise their game.
Join the discussion and find out what the future holds at ISE’s Live Events Summit on Thursday 1 February, 10:30 – 14:30, in location: C5.1. The summit will feature interviews with the industry’s most respected crew members and in-depth discussions with R&D departments, creating the technology that powers events. The Live Events Summit pulls back the curtain on those responsible for creating awe-inspiring spectacles for some of live music’s biggest stars.
As audio is key to a total integrated AV experience whatever the setting, the ISE Audio Zone (Hall 7) is packed with solutions for every market sector for all sizes of project and any type of application. ISE 2024 covers the entire audio signal chain from microphones to loudspeakers and everything in between.
In addition, the new suite of specially built Audio Demo Rooms in Hall 8.0 was one of the major successes of ISE 2023. The rooms drew large numbers of visitors who appreciated the opportunity to hear audio systems in optimum listening conditions. This facility has been significantly expanded for ISE 2024, with 18 rooms available. There will once again also be an Outdoor Demo Area, featuring rotating short demonstrations.
Technology Zones & New Halls
ISE 2024 will grow into Halls 1 and 4 of the Fira Barcelona Gran Vía. Hall 1 becomes the new home of Lighting & Staging, while Hall 4 provides a new location for Content Production & Distribution while also allowing the Multi-Technology Zone to be extended.
The show floor is easy to navigate, set out across seven Technology Zones to provide visitors with the full spectrum of solutions required for every event and installation:

As well as the Live Events Summit, there will be a further eight specialist conferences taking place during the show.
