NORTH AMERICA – The readers of FRONT of HOUSE have spoken and we are pleased to announce the Regional Winners of the FOH Hometown Hero contest. They are now finalists for the Parnelli Hometown Hero — Sound Company of the Year Award.
FOH readers voted for their choice of the six top regional sound companies in North America — one for each of five U.S. regions, and a sixth for all of Canada. This narrowed the field from 36 to six finalists, who will appear on the Parnelli Awards ballot.
The ballot will be live by early November for the 22nd Parnelli Awards voting. The winner will receive the Parnelli Award for Hometown Hero — Sound Company of the Year at the Parnelli Awards ceremony in January.
The six finalists, by region, are:
- Northeast: Black Walnut Productions, Chambersburg, PA
- Southeast: Spider Ranch Productions, Ocala, FL
- Midwest: Allied Production & Sales, Mendota Heights, MN
- Northwest: Canaan Sound & Light, Sacramento, CA
- Southwest: Brown Note Productions, Thornton, CO
- Canada: Gearforce, Vancouver, BC
The Parnelli Awards ceremony is set for Jan. 26, 2024 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA during The NAMM Show.
