Event Details
The 2023 General Assembly of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)/CCDOC took place July 29 to Aug. 1 at the Louisville Convention Center in Louisville, KY. Rev. Teresa “Terri” Hord Owens was re-elected to a second term as general minister and president of the CCDOC in the U.S. and Canada. She is the first African American (and second woman) to lead the denomination.
