BRESCIA, Italy – Immersed in a large park and golf club, the 5-star spa and wellness resort, QC Terme di Arzaga, is the latest development of the QC group, known in Europe and worldwide for prestigious wellness centers, spas, spa hotels and resorts. To guarantee a complete relaxation experience, QC Terme renewed its partnership with RCF for the installation of multi-zone audio systems inside the structure with over 70 speakers, all amplified by RCF Business Music systems.

QC Termegarda got its start inside Palazzo Arzaga, an ancient Renaissance residence from the 15th century which stands in the hills of Lake Garda. Dating back to the times of the Serenissima Republic of Venice, the spa now combines that legacy of history with the latest technologies to please its guests.
In collaboration with QC’s Audio Video Designer, Gilles Cheney, the RCF Engineering Support Group developed two distinct designs for the hotel and spa. The installation includes a wide range of installation loudspeakers with a high degree of protection against bad weather and humidity, including DM 41 and DM 41-B 2-way compact loudspeakers, MR 40T two-way loudspeakers and L2406T three-way column loudspeakers. in addition to the PL 6X ceiling lights installed on the ceiling. Due to the architectural constraints in the structure of the resort, in particular, the L 2406T are installed on a custom design floor support developed directly by QC Terme, to allow the cables to reach from the floor.
The multi-zone audio systems are amplified by several Business Music DMA 82 and 162 amplifiers and managed by a special software via PC. Thanks to this software, it is possible to create different music folders for each zone and program on/off times and change music folders by setting a different output volume. For example, for the aperitif area, at a certain time the music folder changes and the volume increases. Furthermore, it is also possible to manage the system remotely, changing music playlists and volumes without having to go on site.
Gilles Cheney, Audio Video Designer of the QC Terme di Arzaga, declares “We have been using RCF systems for over a decade in the spaces of the QC Terme, always obtaining first-rate results and guaranteeing our customers the maximum sound quality even after so many years, with the maximum reliability even in situations of very high humidity typical of SPAs.”
