Tour Details:
The Weeknd’s 2022 tour, which features a huge stage, 300’ runway and a pair of B stages, is visually dominated by a massive video screen and artistic set, forcing the audio design to follow suit. That meant positioning the speaker hangs high and out of the visual line of sight and no flown subs. Even the band members are concealed from view. The tour, originally dubbed After Hours, the same as the artist’s March 20, 2020 album release, was delayed by Covid until months after the release of another album, Dawn FM, in January 2022. Hence the all-stadium trek’s revised name, After Hours til Dawn. It kicked off July 14 at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field and wrapped up Nov. 27 at SoFi Stadium in the L.A. area. The tour is set to travel throughout Europe and South America in 2023.
