Show Details:

“We carry an Eighth Day Sound [d&b] KSL system with us in the USA, and when we go to Canada, we call Rob Nevalainen and Gearforce,” noted Glenn Thornton, tour manager/production manager for Trevor Noah, host of Comedy Central’s Daily Show, who capped the Feb. 2022 Just for Laughs Vancouver festival with his current touring show, Back to Abnormal. The festival marked a return to full capacity for the 18,000 capacity Rogers Arena. “For this show, Covid restrictions were lifted two weeks before the concert, and the promoter decided to move the stage even further back to have the capacity to sell more tickets,” noted Nevalainen, who credited d&b’s ArrayProcessing software for optimizing delivery of the comedian’s punch lines to every seat in the house. “This was the first full capacity event at Rogers Arena since the beginning of Covid. Both Gearforce techs and the local crew were very happy to be back in a situation where they could fly a big sound system.”
