Event Details
The 50th Anniversary BMW Dallas Marathon, with half, full and ultra marathon (50K) options, was staged on a Sunday capping a full weekend of events in early December. All the runners started and finished in the same area in Downtown Dallas near Dallas City Hall, with a circular tour of the downtown city area extended by a loop around White Rock Lake for the full marathon and ultra marathon runners. The weekend of festivities also included races on Friday night for those runners looking to compete in shorter-distance track events. Onstage Systems went the distance with more than 2,200 linear feet of audio distribution to keep spectators and runners informed and entertained.
