Event Details
The Strand Theater is a 1914 vaudeville/movie house that was renovated in 2001 to become a multi-use performance space. The house seats 275 and features displays of the original 1935 carbon-arc projection equipment. The Carpenters Reimagined is a tribute to Karen and Richard Carpenter featuring internationally acclaimed vocalist/entertainer Helen Welch. Welch has appeared as a fronting vocalist for The Cleveland Orchestra, The Breckenridge Summer Orchestra, The Cleveland Jazz Orchestra, The Grant Park Symphony Orchestra (Chicago), The Florida Symphony and the Columbus Jazz Orchestra.
